Biography
I am a Ph.D. student in the Cogntive and Information Sciences Dept.
at the University of California, Merced.
I am advised by Dr. Michael J. Spivey.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Grinnell College where I was heavily influenced by the teaching and work of Dr. Damian Kelty-Stephen.
I was born in Grand Rapids, MI and raised by my Vietnamese, immigrant mother. I am queer. I use he/they pronouns. I love to cook and bake.
Research Interests
- My research interests are in computational and dynamical modeling to understand human behavior and cognition.
I have strong interests in embodied and emergent theories of mind. - I am currently exploring non-verbal communication and virtual reality methods.
