Teaching Statement

I am committed to creating inclusive spaces of learning for all individuals, from any background and perspective. I view diversity as a resource, strength and necessity. It is my intent to present materials and activities that are respectful of diversity, including but not limited to, gender identity, sexuality, disability, age, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, race, nationality, religion, and culture. My conviction in this statement is informed by personal experience and my dedication to my values, my teaching, and the cognitive science discipline at large.
